At TAG, Tim is responsible for providing financial analysis, advice, and counseling to TAG Members. He drives profitability growth for TAG Members by delivering in depth financial and management training utilizing industry benchmarks and "best practices" in both group settings and one-on-one. He is tasked with development and initiation of strategic programs for the benefit of TAG Members. Tim also drives achievement of TAG's Mission, realization of its strategic plan, and manages its overall financial performance.
Tim was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Mobivity, a technology company based in San Diego. Tim played an integral role in building Mobivity from the ground up by developing operational plans, tracking key performance indicators, closing financing rounds in excess of $18 million dollars, and executing several successful acquisitions. He led finance, accounting, human resources, and SEC reporting activities, and implemented budget processes. Tim also presented business results and financial reports to the company's board, shareholders, and customers.
Before Mobivity, Tim excelled in the management team with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He rose rapidly to head accounting and payroll departments that spanned operations in New York, New Jersey, Vermont and Connecticut. He was then promoted to Regional Business Manager of the Inland Empire Los Angeles region. There he managed 40 locations, 300 employees and $40m in annual revenues. He developed best business practice curriculum that he delivered in live training, and created financial reporting tools that provided real time analysis of both performance metrics and target goals.
Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from San Diego State University.
