Capture the Magic in Vegas

On December 7 - 8th, the Business Technology Association (BTA) held its annual Capture The Magic conference at the beautiful Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, which brought together office technology dealers from around the country to network with fellow peers and feature new and innovative technology. Their slogan “Dealers helping Dealers make profitable connections” was the perfect way to sum it up — educational seminars and sessions from leading tech companies like Toshiba, Panasonic, EPSON and more. TAG's own Brian Suerth presented our booth and was a sponsor at the event. We met some incredible people and spoke with many unique and qualified experts from all over about who we are and what we offer.
BTA and Capture the Magic is a fantastic experience for those seeking the top leaders in office equipment. Keynote speaker, Coyte Cooper Ph.D., who was an athlete for the NCAA in both All-American and High school wrestling. He later became a college professor and was named EXSS Teacher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; he is now a bestselling author, motivational speaker, and high-performance specialist. During his part of the event, he spoke of the innovative and poignant ways of increasing productivity and overall perspective. He honed in on the possibilities that businesses can have by “flipping the script” and reversing habits that cause counterproductivity and taught of ways to create better balance and structure in a company. This speech left us with essential information on ways to proactively operate in specific business functions. Attendees of the conference were also able to attend the AIMED conference free of charge, which held a panel discussion on ways to diversify your products and services in a consistently moving market.
This event had many gems for those who attended and was an overall great success and all the dealers involved provided a fantastic experience. We hope to participate in next year’s event for even more leading-edge tips, tricks, and secrets for running a better business.
